Audience profile

My target audience is 14-18 year old females. I personally and so do my peer group fit into this category so i decided to talk to them about what they like a lot of them suggested adding concerts and festivals because this is what are specific age group is into. I will ask for there opinion when making my magazine to because although i know what I like other people in my target audience  may not feel the same. It is useful that i have chosen this category because i don't think there is an indie magazine directed at my age audience already out on the market i have chosen to only appeal to a small category although other people might like to buy it i think that the target market i have chosen do like listening to music a lot more than an older age group and also are interested in little bits about fashion rather than having a whole magazine about it instead. I have decided to charge £2.99 per month for my magazine as I think this is reasonable price for students to pay each month as it isn't to expensive and I think you do get a lot inside the magazine for what you pay.
