This is what it looked liked. I didn't feel like this made my masthead stand out enough although i wanted to keep the style of font which was 'Rockwell extra bold'. I then thought it would be a good idea to add a black stroke around the edge.
I felt this made the masthead stand out a lot more. The stroke i used was x16 and i have decided to use this on my contents page as well to make the house style consistent.
I think this does work well and would attract people to buy my magazine.
